The supermoist banana and almond cake is really lovely, although I did dial up the vanilla to cover the banana flavour, I found myself really loving this cake.

I tried this recipe today and it was delicious. THe ground almonds gave it a real nice texture. This will become a favorite of mine. Thanks for posting.

Sounds great! Thanks for sharing the recipe. Have you ever made it without the bananas? If so, what did you use as a substitute? Please let me know and thanks again for posting your recipe.

Jules, this looks really pretty and elegant.I like your Blog too.Do I need to make this in that special pan, or can it be made in a cake pan for now just to try it out.

Made this for a post-christening lunch today. Everyone loved it. So easy, but looks like you might have spent a lot of time baking. only problem was that I already started baking when I realized that I needed to figure out 250g. (don't have a scale). Oops. I think it turned out fine so I must have been close. Will make this again, but for breakfast so I can have it warm with a cup of coffee. Yum!
Oh, and I made it in a regular spring-form pan as I did not have a fluted flan springform.

Sounds delicious!!! Might even be good with a fluffy, lite cream cheese frosting? Thanks for sharing, definitely going to try this one.
