Ingredients

How to make it

  • Bring your deep fryer to approx 350 degrees (this is experimental depending on the brand of biscuit you buy)
  • Open the tube of biscuits and separate.
  • Cut each biscuit in half or quarters depending on the size you want
  • Place in the deep fryer do not crowd
  • Remove when deep golden brown
  • Drain quickly on paper towels and roll in cinnamon sugar or shredded coconut or any other coating you prefer (Try mixing granulated or confectioners sugar with Kool Aid or cinnamon sugar and your favorite cream cheese sauce)
  • Munch!!!!

    We make these when we camp, well we don't do the holes, we make the bisquits into doughnut shapes. Gotta give ya a 5, they are good!

    Gees, I really missed out as a kid! I never had these. In fact, I was allowed anything sweet, fried or fun. Wait until I give my Mom crap about NOT letting me have these!!!!

    Delicious, and I used to take the cap from a bottle of vanilla, press in the middle of the biscuit and make the hole! :)

    Used to have these 'crispy biscuits' when I was a kid too. So good! We did the hole in the middle too, and frosted them with homemade chocolate glaze....=)

    I love these things. Trouble is, my hand is too big and my mouth is even bigger...much to the bathroom scales chagrin!

    We used to do this when we were little. Instead of making balls we would poke holes through the biscuit and make a donut shape. Alot of fun for kids.
