Sadie's Salad Dressing is a smooth and savory dressing for cold seafood salads.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon catsup

Directions
  1. Whisk the dressing ingredients together until thoroughly smooth and creamy.
  2. Refrigerate in a sealed jar until needed.
  3. Note: Like Wild Willie, I don't know who Sadie is but she hails from Natchitoches, Louisiana, which is pronounced [NAK-ah-dish]. This is where scenes from "Steel Magnolias" was filmed. Her dressing is used in a cold shrimp and macaroni salad but it is equally good, as a dressing with a twist, on other fare.
