Easy Venison Pot Roast Recipe
An easy venison no muss no fuss pot roast without the wild gamey taste

Ingredients
  • 2 to 3 pound venison roast
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 packages Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1/2 lb raw carrots
  • 1/2 lb frozen or fresh green beans
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • fresh cracked Black Pepper or ground, your choice (I prefer cracked)
  • Garlic powder

Directions
  1. Mix soup and onion soup mix.
  2. Add 1/2 cup milk and mix well.
  3. Season roast by rubbing in generously pepper and garlic. (Do not add salt.)
  4. Place roast in pan with lid.
  5. Add soup around roast.
  6. Place other veggies around roast.
  7. Cover, bake at 350ºF for about 4 hours.
  8. Stir before serving
  9. A walk in the park !!!!

What I wouldn't do for some venison! Haven had it in over 30 years! Great recipe!


In arkansas that is road kill ugh. But lots of hunters here so the butchers carry some and I will make it while watching the family of deer I have been leaving food out for in the woods,,,just no bunny stew puleeeeeze!

I'm a hunter, and got a nice roast in the deep freeze. Guess I'll have to take it out this weekend.
