Gingerbread Pudding Cake

- 2 1/2 c. flour shopping list
- 1/2 c. sugar shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 1/4 tsp. ginger shopping list
- 1 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. allspice shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg shopping list
- 1/2 c. softened butter shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. molasses shopping list
- 1/3 c. melted butter shopping list
- 1 c. water shopping list
- 3/4 c. brown sugar shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. hot water shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, all spice, salt
- and nutmeg and set aside. In a large bowl beat butter and sugar on medium until
- creamy; add egg and continue beating until well mixed. Continue alternating flour
- mixture with molasses and water. Pour into a 13x9-in. pan and sprinkle with brown
- sugar. In medium bowl combine 1 1/2 c. water and melted butter and pour on top of
- batter, bake for 40-55 minutes until top cracks. Serve hot with cool whip.
