I just baked this recipe, thank you. I felt like it could use a kick, a bit bland for me. The second time around I'll add cinnamon, vanilla extract and sliced almonds on top.

So, the longer the loaf sat, the better it tasted. This morning I made french toast with the leftover slices and it turned out excellent! Egg, half-n-half, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla extract.
