This is a recipe I obtained from a church friend. This is a very good salad. You won't be disappointed I promise.

Ingredients
  • 4 granny smith apples cubed
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup drained (save juice)
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1-1/2 cups cocktail peanuts
  • 8 ounce container creamy cool whip
  • 1/2 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon flour

Directions
  1. Mix together juice, vinegar, sugar, egg and 1 tablespoon flour.
  2. Cook until mixture comes to a boil and is syrupy.
  3. Strain to remove any lumps then cool.
  4. Mix all ingredients and refrigerate 2 hours before serving.
