How to make it

  • Cooke rice according to package directions, omitting salt or substitutine seasoned salt if desired
  • Drain well; cool to room temperature
  • Spoon into a large bowl; add chickengrapes, water chestnuts and mayonnaise
  • Toss gently with a fork
  • Cover and Chill
  • Just before serving toss in cashews
  • Prep time is increased and varies by the chill time- Please be aware of this

    Reminds me of my growing up days when my Grandmother made this, the only thing different is she would put mushrooms in it. Funny how I was just thinking of this the other day. Can't wait to make it again. I give it a 5:)
