Midwest Casserole Recipe
An easy, cheesy, potato and mushroom casserole.

Ingredients
  • 5 lbs. potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 2 lbs. sausage (your favorte sausage will do!)
  • 2 c. Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • garlic salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • olive oil

Directions
  1. Fry the potatoes with garlic salt and pepper in olive oil.
  2. In separate pan fry the sausage until cooked through. Drain grease from both.
  3. In casserole dish, mix fried sausage, potatoes, and both cans of soup. Mix well to make sure everything is covered. Sprinkle cheese over the mixture.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Serve!
