Ingredients
  • 3 Cups Vodka
  • 3 Packages Mixed Frozen Berries
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 2 Cups of Water

Directions
  1. Heat sugar with the water over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Cool.
  3. Pour into a 2 quart container.
  4. Add desired fruit and the 3 cups of vodka.
  5. Stir gently and cover with a tightly covered lid. Let stand in a cool dark place for 2 to 4 weeks.
  6. Strain through several layers of cheesecloth.
  7. If not yet clear, pour again through a coffee filter.
  8. Seal tightly in a clean bottle and store.
  9. Variations:
  10. Orange Cordial: Peels from 3 oranges, peel only.
  11. Pear: 6 medium Pears, peeled, cored and thinly sliced.
  12. Note: For a tasty after dinner drink, serve any of these cordials in glasses that have been chilled in the freezer one hour before serving.
