How to make it

  • Place all ingredients in a pot that is big enough to hold them. Bring to a boil. Cook, covered, on low heat for several hours. From Justin Wilson's "Outside Cooking with Inside Help"
  • The recipe above is just as Justin wrote it, I tweaked mine to add bit more hot sauce (easily doubled) and reduce the liquid smoke by a third. And I certain a little more mint makes it in the pot, too. I do that measure in your palm and I'm not exactly accurate.

    The title caught my eye as I was scrolling quickly thru your recipes....when I get to the end, I'll start over again...ha! I haven't seen Justin Wilson's t.v. show in many years! I really liked him...and his "I shouldn'ta oughta have did this" language! Saving recipe which looks delicious!
