Cheesy Spaghetti Recipe

	Peetabear / All my dishes 2 years, 1 month ago this is a recipe I got from a Swedish lady from Wisconsin..It's her version of Italian Spaghetti and meat sauce..it's more like Mac and Cheese. I have added my own touches to it since the orginal used tomato juice and no spices or onions.. Prep:15m Cook:45m Servings:4	Peetabear

Ingredients

1 to 1 1/2 lb good hamburger

1 large onion

3 small cans V-8 juice or tomato juice ( 6oz size)

1/2 to 3/4 lb velveeta cheese

garlic powder

lots of pepper

3/4 lb spaghette

variations

add mushrooms

1 can 15 oz diced tomatoes

Directions

chop onion

put hamburger and onion in large frying pan ( i use my chicken fryer)

saute until meat is done and onion is soft

wipe out any excess grease

add 3 cans V-8 juice

add cut up velveeta when it gets all melted it will look soupy

add spices of you choice.. I like mine peppery

cook over low heat until it starts to thicken and the flavors meld

cook the spaghetti. drain well. add to the meat and cheese. mix well

let cook on low until it looks thick enough and the spag. has pick up some of the sauce flavor.

It's not very fussy..

if it gets too thick add a little water

Great recipe. I make this, omitting the V-8 juice, and substituting the diced tomatoes. We love it! For extra zest, I sometimes used diced tomatoes with green chilies (Rotel) - yummy.
