Creamy Dill - Tarragon Tuna Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

1 bag of egg noodles (12 ounces)

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp flour

1-1/2 cup seafood or chicken stock

1/2 cup half-n-half

1 tsp anchiovy paste

2 tsp Dijon Mustard or dry mustard

2 tsp tarragon

4 tsp dill

1 can drained tuna (large can)

1 can drained tiny shrimp

1 can drained peas

1 can drained mushrooms

salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Cook noodles in boiling salted water

As noodles are cooking, over medium heat place a skillet and melt butter

Once melted; sprinkle flour over butter and stir while letting the mixture cook about 1 minute

Add anchiovy paste to stock and mix together before adding to pan

Whisk in stock and let liquid cook until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes

Add half-n-half and mustard and bring to bubble

Turn to low until noodles are cooked,

Add tarragon, dill, tuna, shrimp, mushrooms & peas and season with salt and pepper

Add noodles into mixture inpan

Continue to cook until all ingredients are throughly heated (may want to turn heat up to medium low)
