Creamy Dill - Tarragon Tuna Casserole

- 1 bag of egg noodles (12 ounces) shopping list
- 2 tbsp butter shopping list
- 2 tbsp flour shopping list
- 1-1/2 cup seafood or chicken stock shopping list
- 1/2 cup half-n-half shopping list
- 1 tsp anchiovy paste shopping list
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard or dry mustard shopping list
- 2 tsp tarragon shopping list
- 4 tsp dill shopping list
- 1 can drained tuna (large can) shopping list
- 1 can drained tiny shrimp shopping list
- 1 can drained peas shopping list
- 1 can drained mushrooms shopping list
- salt & pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Cook noodles in boiling salted water
- As noodles are cooking, over medium heat place a skillet and melt butter
- Once melted; sprinkle flour over butter and stir while letting the mixture cook about 1 minute
- Add anchiovy paste to stock and mix together before adding to pan
- Whisk in stock and let liquid cook until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes
- Add half-n-half and mustard and bring to bubble
- Turn to low until noodles are cooked,
- Add tarragon, dill, tuna, shrimp, mushrooms & peas and season with salt and pepper
- Add noodles into mixture inpan
- Continue to cook until all ingredients are throughly heated (may want to turn heat up to medium low)
