Prune or Apricot Kolachky Recipe

How to make it

  • Mix altogether:
  • sugar ,egg, milk, lard, flour, baking powder
  • Mix and raise 15 min.
  • Roll out dough.
  • Cut into small squares or as big as you desire
  • Fill small am't in center
  • Pull each corner (4) to center & pinch corners to hold together.
  • Bake @ 375 degrees in pre-heated oven-15 to 20 min. or until golden brown.
  • To make prune filling;
  • wash 1 lb. prunes
  • Cover with cold water.
  • Let stand over-night
  • Boil until soft
  • Sweeten to taste with sugar or use jar of solo prune filling
