Ingredients

How to make it

  • Place the potatoes in a steamer basket, and set in a pan over an inch of boiling water. (a vegetable steamer/rice cooker is easier)
  • Cover, and steam for about 10 minutes, until potatoes are tender but not mushy
  • In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, dill, garlic, and salt
  • Transfer the potatoes to a serving bowl, and pour the seasoned butter over them
  • Toss gently until they are well-coated
  • Serve
  • Goes well with any meat

I love dill on any fresh veggies. A tradition in our family is to cream them with fresh dill when the veggies are still very small (small potatoes, small carrots, new peas). I think it's a German thing. We even cream cabbage! O my, I think I gained 5 lbs. just thinking about it!!

This is also one of my families fav's! You're right about them going with any meat. I like it with chicken breasts & meat loaf.
