French Toast Pancake

- bread 4 shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- milk or half and half..I prefer half and half when I have it in shopping list
- dash of salt shopping list
- no sugar here shopping list
- fry pan shopping list
- oil in fry pan shopping list
How to make it
- I cube up the bread
- Mix the eggs with the cream/milk
- dash salt...not much makes egg tough
- Pour egg mix over bread let it soak a bit. Dont mush it up, bread should stay like cubes.
- Be sure it is moist not dry. It will be custardy that way.
- Heat the oil
- pour in a laddle full of mixture in center of pan and spread a bit. It will be lumpy because of cubes I make one per pan, a big size almost a small plate size.
- brown well until golden and crispy
- flip do other side. sometimes I need two spatulas
- serve with syrup, butter, anything...I love butter on mine with salt.
