- COOK OVER MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL THICK AND STIRRING CONSTANTLY:

- 1 CUP DATES CHOPPED
- 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
- 1/2 CUP BUTTER OR MARGARINE
- 1 TEASPOON VANILLA
- ADD:
- 2 1/1 CUPS RICE CRISPIE CEREAL
- 1/2 CUP FINELY CHOPPED NUTS
Directions
- ROLL INTO ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
- 10 X SUGAR
- COCONUT
- COCOA
- FINE NUTS
- I ROLL THEM INTO THE COCONUT

Yes these are also callet Skillet Cookies, one of my favourites. This was one of the first cookies I made aout 35 years or more ago. I roll mine in coconut and nuts.
