I love clams but I've never tried to cook them in the shell before. This recipe makes it sound easy. Also sounds delicious, so I will definitely try!

You have won a place in my heart. I love steamers and wish every day that I could live in a place where I can get them fresh. We don't see them often here in the midwest but when I can find some little necks I will be using this recipe. YUM YUM! Thanks for the post. MJ

I have never actually done steamers but I do love to order them out. Not sure what type of clams I would use here in England but will see what is available so I can make your recipe. Thanks for posting.

I think this dish would do well as a spanish tapas also. It is so simple yet has great taste. Nothing like wine and garlic. Yummy!

Just made this tonight. it came out very, very good. The sauce created by the cooking clams (and wine etc) was great, and gave the dish (over angelhair) a slightly sweet taste that was really good. Close my eyes and I'm at a restaurant eating a $18 plate.
