Cozy Comfort Pasta Sea Shells Gorgonzola Toasted Walnuts Bread Crumbs

- 8 ounces pasta sea shells shopping list
- 1/2 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 6 ounces gorgonzola, crumbled, 1 ounce reserved shopping list
- Freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 slice bread, coarsely chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped toasted walnuts shopping list
- paprika shopping list
How to make it
- Cook pasta according to directions until just tender
- Combine cream, 5 ounces gorgonzola in medium saucepan
- Stir constantly over LOW heat until cheese is almost melted, about 5 minutes
- Drain pasta when done
- Return pasta to pot, add cheese sauce
- Stir over medium heat until sauce thickens slightly about 2 minutes
- Add pepper to taste
- Pour mixture into a shallow baking dish
- Combine breadcrumbs and nuts and sprinkle topping over the pasta
- Dot with remaining 1 ounce gorgonzola
- Can brown under broiler until crunchy and brown
- NOTE: I make *buttered* breadcrumbs from hearty, course bread, then mix with toasted walnuts and do not brown under broiler, your choice
