My Moms Turkey Gravy Recipe
Not your run of the mill turkey gravy! Mom's is the best! Soak the giblets overnight in salt water.

Ingredients
  • Giblets (should soak overnight in salt water)
  • 1 Onion, sliced lengthwise
  • 2 stalks celergy, rough chopped
  • 1 qt. seasoned turkey broth
  • 8 T drippings
  • 12 T browned flour
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Directions
  1. Soak giblets overnight in salt water
  2. Early in day, place flour in oven baking dish, and brown in oven on lo heat. (Shake dish ocasionally - will take more borwoned flour than biscuit gravy)
  3. After soaking overnight, simmer giblets with onion and celery for 2 hours
  4. Add browned flour to turkey drippings over medium heat.
  5. Stir til smooth.
  6. Add broth from giblets, a little at a time.
  7. Cook, while stirring, until well-blended
  8. Add soup and giblets
  9. Simmer 20 minutes
