How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375 F, Grease a 23cm loose bottom tart pan.
  • Make the chocolate cake as directed on the package. Pour half
  • Of the mixture in the Pan.(You may save the other half for a normal
  • Devil’s food cake).
  • Sprinkle walnuts over the cake batter.Cover and chill for 20 minutes
  • To harden slightly.
  • In a stainless bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar till light and
  • Fluffy. Add the egg, beat again for 1 minute, add the vanilla and beat again.
  • Pour mixture over the hardened cake batter and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  • Bake for 30 minutes till a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Cool in the oven with the door ajar.
  • Use your imagination and dust with cocoa powder and icing sugar as desired
