Apple Walnut Cake Recipe

How to make it

  • In a Mixing Bowl, Beat Sugar & Eggs. Add Oil & Vanilla; Mix Well. Combine Flour, Baking Soda, Cinnamon, Salt, & Nutmeg; Gradually Add to Sugar Mixture, Mixing Well. Stir in Apples & Walnuts. Pour into a Greased & Floured 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan. Bake at 350 Degrees for 50 to 55 Minutes or until Cake tests done with toothpick. Cool on Wire Rack
  • For Frosting, Beat Cream Cheese, Butter, & Vanilla in Bowl, gradually add Powdered Sugar until the Frosting has reached desired spreading consistency. Frost Cake when Completely Cooled

    With or without Frosting I thought it was Great, I have made it both ways. I frosted it for company since alot of friends adore Cream Cheese Frosting, but without was a nice change with a cup of coffee or tea. Hope you Enjoy it
