How to make it

  • Grind mushrooms for a smoother bisque or use them sliced for a chunky bisque; place in a large pot with the shallots, broth and wine; simmer 15 minutes. Cover and simmer another 15 minutes. Melt butter on medium heat in a saucepan; whisk in flour until well blended let cook for 2 minutes. Add half & half stir until thickened. Add to mushroom mixture. Add spices, salt and pepper. Simmer 15-20 minutes more. Add hot sauce. Enjoy
