How to make it

  • Heat vinegar and sugar on low till sugar dissolves. Stir frequently. When sugar has dissolved, take off heat and let cool to room temp.
  • Pour over grated cabbage and onion
  • Stir in celery and mustard seeds
  • Put in refrigerator. This actually taste better when it sits in refrig for a while. It will keep almost indefinately......It's like a woman, it's versitile, improves with age and gets spicier the longer it waits.

    Do you use white vinegar with this or apple cider vinegar? Sounds good. I wonder if the already grated bags of cabbage would work also?
