szechwan shrimpchili shrimp

- 1/2# shrimp,peeled & deveined shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves-minced shopping list
- 2 tsp. grated,fresh,ginger shopping list
- 1 tsp. dried red chili peper flakes or to taste shopping list
- 3 scallions-diaginaly sliced-thinly shopping list
- 3 Tbs. sesame oil shopping list
- 1Tbs. rice wine or sherry wine(drinkable not cooking wine) shopping list
- 2 Tbs. catsup shopping list
- 2 Tbs. chili sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp. cornstarch mixed with 2 Tbs. of water shopping list
How to make it
- in a wok or skillet,over medium-high heat,heat oil until very hot.
- saute shrimp,garlic,ginger,scallions and chili pepper flakes for about 2 minutes
- add wine,catsup,chili sauce and cornstarch mixture and cook,stiring constantly,until shrimp are done
- serve with rice
- if you dust the shrimp with flour before cooking,you will be making it like Chen's on iron chef
