Ingredients
  • 1/2# shrimp,peeled & deveined
  • 3 garlic cloves-minced
  • 2 tsp. grated,fresh,ginger
  • 1 tsp. dried red chili peper flakes or to taste
  • 3 scallions-diaginaly sliced-thinly
  • 3 Tbs. sesame oil
  • 1Tbs. rice wine or sherry wine(drinkable not cooking wine)
  • 2 Tbs. catsup
  • 2 Tbs. chili sauce
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch mixed with 2 Tbs. of water

Directions
  1. in a wok or skillet,over medium-high heat,heat oil until very hot.
  2. saute shrimp,garlic,ginger,scallions and chili pepper flakes for about 2 minutes
  3. add wine,catsup,chili sauce and cornstarch mixture and cook,stiring constantly,until shrimp are done
  4. serve with rice
  5. if you dust the shrimp with flour before cooking,you will be making it like Chen's on iron chef
