Snicker Cake

- 1 pkg German chocolate cake mix shopping list
- 12 oz caramels shopping list
- 1/2 cup margarine shopping list
- 1/3 cup milk shopping list
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- Cool Whip for garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare cake mix as directed on box. bake half the batter in a 9 x 13 pan for 20 minutes.
- melt caramels, margarine and milk, stirring until smooth.
- put on baked cake.
- top with chips and pecans.
- dot with remaining batter.
- reduce oven to 250 degrees and bake for 20 minutes.
- Increase the temperature to 350 and bake 10 - 15 minutes more
- garnish with cool whip
