How to make it

  • Cook everything in crockpot on high for 5-6 hours or low for 8-10 hours.
  • Take meat from broth and slice for French Dip sandwiches.
  • Strain broth to make 'au jus' for dipping.
  • Serve on french rolls or hoagie buns. Add cheese and sauteed onions,mushrooms,or peppers and pop it all under the broiler for a perfect sandwich.
  • I also like to throw some horseradish into the au jus for a heavenly kick.
