I had to post this, as this is a very pricey drink served at the famed *L'Espalier* here in Boston. Served with a Peppermint stirrer! Maybe you can make your own version for less! Enjoy! :)

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 oz. Sazerac 18 year rye
  • 1 oz. Licor 43 (is a bright yellow Spanish liqueur. It is made from citrus and fruit juices, flavored with vanilla and other aromatic herbs and spices, in total 43 different ingredients (hence the name).
  • 1 oz. Château de Laubade Bas-Armagnac XO (one of the finest Brandys)

Directions
  1. Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake well and strain and pour into chilled martini glass.
  3. Garnish with a homemade spun sugar peppermint stirrer...Or for some of us a nice Peppermint Stick :)
  4. **Different from a Jack Frost Manhattan** :)
