Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 9-inch pie shell

4 large eggs, room temperature (I use Jumbo Size)

1 cup light corn syrup

1 cup sugar

5 tablespoons butter, melted

2 teaspoons vanilla

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 cups pecan halves or chopped

Directions

Heat oven to 350*

In a medium size bowl, whisk together corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, vanilla and salt. Mix thoroughly.

Add eggs and whisk until thoroughly combined.

Stir in pecans and then pour into unbaked pie shell.

Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until center is set.

My husband loves pecan pie also. I make one for him for Thanksgiving and Christmas since we have been married. It's about like this, I tried going off the norm and adding chocolate one year and he about had a panic attack.
