This is a very good Pecan Pie recipe, a family favorite served up with a nice dollap of Cool Whip. MmmmmmmmmYum

Ingredients
  • 1 9-inch pie shell
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature (I use Jumbo Size)
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups pecan halves or chopped

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350*
  2. In a medium size bowl, whisk together corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, vanilla and salt. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Add eggs and whisk until thoroughly combined.
  4. Stir in pecans and then pour into unbaked pie shell.
  5. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until center is set.

Just like the one Im about to make..yum..this is a good one!


Pecan Pie is my husband's favorite. I've never been good at making it, but your recipe sounds pretty easy, so I think I'll give it a shot. Wish me luck!


My husband loves pecan pie also. I make one for him for Thanksgiving and Christmas since we have been married. It's about like this, I tried going off the norm and adding chocolate one year and he about had a panic attack.


Love nuts! I married one and he did too!
