Braised Toufu

- 1 piece of organic firm toufu shopping list
- 2 garlic, chopped shopping list
- 5 tbs of soy sauce shopping list
- 1 cup of water shopping list
- 1 tbs of sugar shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- scallion, cut into 10 cms lenght shopping list
- 1 chilli pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon of corn starch mixed with 4 tbs of water shopping list
How to make it
- Cut toufu into 1 cms thick, 5 cms wide
- fry toufu until both sides are golden brown
- with alittle oil saute garlic until fragant add sugar until caramelize add soy sauce until fragant add water, chilli, scallion, salt and pepper.
- simmer until sauce is absorbed, taste,
- add cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce, stir well, serve
