Cocoa Kiss Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

3/4 cup sugar

1 teasp. vanilla

1/2 teasp. salt

2 cups flour

1 ex. large egg

1/4 cup Hershey's Cocoa powder

1 cup finely chopped pecans

Hershey's Kisses

confectioners sugar, or white chocolate, or semi-sweet or milk chocolate

Directions

mixer bowl: cream butter, sugar, vanilla until light and fluffy. add egg and beat

mix together the flour and cocoa powder

add to creamed mixture. beat at low speed until well mixed

add nuts mix well

chill the dough for one hour

take the wrappers off the chocolate kisses

mold small amount of chilled cookie dough around each of the chocolate kisses.. follow the shape of the kiss

place on a ungreased cookie sheet

bake at 350' for 10-12 mins. or until almost set

cool then either roll in confectioners sugar.. OR melt your choice of chocolate and dip whole cookie in it or what I do, is dip the top in white chocolate
