French Breakfast Muffins

- 1 1/2 cups 2 tablespoons flour shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 1 egg, beaten shopping list
- 1/3 cup butter, melted shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/3 cup butter, melted shopping list
How to make it
- Combine first 5 ingredients.
- Add milk, egg and 1/3 cup of melted butter.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Grease and flour muffin tins.
- Fill 1/2 full and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or lightly browned.
- Remove from pan immediately.
- Dip in remaining 1/3 cup melted butter.
- Roll in mixture of the sugar, cinnamon and vanilla.
- Serve warm.

Made these yesterday morning. Very delicious. They do taste very much like a cake doughnut, but MUCH quicker. Thanks for sharing. Will be making them again.
