French Breakfast Muffins Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups 2 tablespoons flour

3/4 cup sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/2 cup milk

1 egg, beaten

1/3 cup butter, melted

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup butter, melted

Directions

Combine first 5 ingredients.

Add milk, egg and 1/3 cup of melted butter.

Mix thoroughly.

Grease and flour muffin tins.

Fill 1/2 full and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or lightly browned.

Remove from pan immediately.

Dip in remaining 1/3 cup melted butter.

Roll in mixture of the sugar, cinnamon and vanilla.

Serve warm.

I've had these before but the only diffence in your recipe and the one I was given is the butter mixed in the batter. The one I have calls for oil. Tomorrow morning I'm going to try yours
