indonesian chicken sate

- 2 chicken breast, cut into 1inch cubes shopping list
- 5 shallots shopping list
- 5 Candle nuts (or use cashew nut if you can't find candle nuts) shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves shopping list
- 1/s teaspoon of coriander powder shopping list
- bamboo skewers shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1/4 cup oil shopping list
- pinch of salt and pepper shopping list
- 1 cups Sweet soy sauce shopping list
- 6 chilis shopping list
- 30 grams roasted peanuts, ground shopping list
- 1/4 cup lime juice shopping list
How to make it
- Ground shallot, garlic, candle nut, and chilis, coriander powder into a very fine paste.
- add 2 tbs of the paste and 4 tbs of sweet soy sauce, Marinate chicken with for at least 1 hours
- with a little oil on low or medium heat, saute the paste until fragrant.
- Add ground peanuts, sweet soy sauce, salt, pepper and water.
- Mix well and slowly bring to a boil. add lime juice.
- put 4 or pieces of chicken on bamboo skewers
- Grill satay for 15 minutes, turning occasionally.
