Party Brisket With Spicy Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

1 (6-7 pound) beef brisket

Salt to taste

3 cloves garlic, minced OR garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion salt, can add more or less

3/4 teaspoon celery salt, can add more or less

1-1/2 teaspoons pepper

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

SAUCE

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 cup favorite barbecue sauce

1 cup broth (from cooked brisket)

1 cup Wish Bone Russian Dressing (NOT CREAMY)

Directions

Mix garlic, seasonings, Worcestershire sauce together, rub onto brisket

Wrap tightly in *heavy-duty* aluminum foil

Place in 9 x 13-inch baking pan or roaster

Cook 7 to 8 hours at 275 degrees

Remove from oven, remove brisket from foil

Reserve 1 cup of brisket broth for sauce

May discard remaining broth

Trim fat from brisket, slice and place brisket back into pan

In bowl, mix together ingredients for sauce

Pour sauce over brisket slices

May cover loosely with foil, but it is not necessary

Bake at 300 degrees F for 1 hour
