Ingredients
  • Margarine
  • salt and pepper
  • chopped button and (ripped) chanterelle mushrooms.
  • Chopped onions
  • Salt, pepper and lots of garlic.

Directions
  1. Margarine in a warmish fry pan
  2. (you don't want to use olive oil or any cooking medium that will take way the 'foresty' flavor or the mushrooms.)
  3. Add chopped onions, kosher salt and fresh ground pepper
  4. Add more magarine and button mushrooms
  5. Add more margarine and chanterelles
  6. Now is a good time to get your toast goiing. I like cripy Italian bread toasted but it is your preference
  7. Add spices as listed and whatever other fresh spices you have.
  8. The more, the tastier.
  9. Plate your toast, mushrooms on top...I added tomato and baby gherkin.

Alterations


no margarine, organic butter or half organic butter/half olive oil.


Also tons of fresh herbs on top would look really pretty and woodsy.
