A chicken and rice casserole from Aglow in the Kitchen cookbook.

Ingredients
  • 1 frying chicken, cut up
  • 1 pkg dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup long-cooking rice, uncooked
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 soup cans boiling water

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325*
  2. Grease large baking dish.
  3. Spread rice evenly in bottom and then shake onion soup mix over rice.
  4. Remove skin from chicken and place on top of rice.
  5. Slowly combine boiling water with the can of soup and pour over chicken and rice.
  6. Cover and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Uncover for last 1/2 hour
