Pecan Orange French Toast Recipe

Ingredients

4 eggs lightly beaten

1/4 cup orange juice concentrate

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup pecans finely ground

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

1 pinch nutmeg

10 slices French bread each 1 inch thick

Directions

In shallow bowl beat together eggs, orange juice concentrate, milk, pecans, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Dip bread into egg mixture coating both sides.

Soak for 30 seconds on each side.

In a skillet melt 1 tablespoon butter and cook the bread on both sides over medium heat for 3 minutes on each side.

Serve with butter.

Grandson and I are arguing on this... he wants it without the pecans... I say pecans or no french toast! I think I won! Great recipe! Love it!
