Ingredients

How to make it

  • *** I recommend using a stone or glass pan for this as it may burn.
  • Spray bottom of 9x13 pan.
  • Spread elbow noodles evenly along bottom of pan.
  • Pour butter over noodles evenly.
  • Spread both cheeses over top.
  • Slowly pour milk evenly over top of cheese.
  • Add salt & pepper to taste.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 60-75 minutes. Cook until not runny.

Hello Michelle, I'm sorry it's taken this long to comment. Life has been crazy busy last couple months. Yes, the macaroni is uncooked when put in the pan. Hence, why the amount of milk. Hope you like it.....

Believe it or not....you need 5 cups of milk. I didn't believe it at first til I made it. But, that's right. :) Just wait til you try it!

That sounds good! I like a really crispy top, and I recently made this version with a double crust that I thought was pretty awesome - I posted about it at http://www.herbivoracious.com/2007/12/recipe-double-c.html .
