Good with soups, chili. Makes excellent toast, or hearty sandwiches. Omit salt entirely if adding cheese though.

I used all unbleached white flour (I was out of whole wheat) and agave nectar in place of honey, but it came out fine. The baking time in the recipe was perfect.

I made this bread a few days ago. What a wonderful recipe! I am not a baker by any means, but this recipe is quick to prepare and delicious. A friend who bakes her own bread said, "I spent 5 hours making bread, while you threw a few ingredients together, stuck it in the oven, and ended up with something delicious." Thanks!
