How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease a 9x5" loaf pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flours, baking powder, and salt.
  • Pour in honey, oil and beer, beating until a stiff batter is formed.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean.

    I made this bread a few days ago. What a wonderful recipe! I am not a baker by any means, but this recipe is quick to prepare and delicious. A friend who bakes her own bread said, "I spent 5 hours making bread, while you threw a few ingredients together, stuck it in the oven, and ended up with something delicious." Thanks!
