Saucy Steamy Caramel Pudding

- 250 ml (1 cup) cake flour shopping list
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) sugar shopping list
- 250 ml (1 cup) milk shopping list
- 25 ml (2 tablespoons)vinegar or brandy shopping list
- 12 ml (1 tablespoon) apricot jam, fine shopping list
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) baking powder shopping list
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) baking soda shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- pinch of salt shopping list
- SAUCE: shopping list
- 250 ml (1 cup) sugar shopping list
- 250 ml (1 cup) Ideal milk or just milk shopping list
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) butter shopping list
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) vanilla essence shopping list
How to make it
- DOUGH:
- Beat the egg and sugar together until light.
- Beat in the flour, vinegar/brandy, jam, baking powder, baking soda and salt until smooth.
- Gradually beat in the milk.
- Pour in a square, greased dish.
- Bake for 50 minutes at 180 degrees C (360 deg F).
- SAUCE:
- Put everything into a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until sugar and butter are melted.
- Take pudding out of oven.
- Using a fork, make tiny holes in pudding for absorbing of the sauce.
- Pour the sauce over hot pudding.
- Serve hot with ice-cream, whipped cream or cream just like that or custard.
