Lazy Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients

1-1/2 pounds ground beef (lean)

1 garlic clove, minced

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 jar (26 ounces) marinara sauce

1-1/2 cups water

1 package refrigerated or frozen cheese ravioli, (20 to 25 ounces)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions

Heat oven to 400°F.

Brown ground beef with garlic in large nonstick skillet over medium heat for about 10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink.

Pour off drippings.

Stir nutmeg and mix well.

Stir in pasta sauce and water; bring to a boil.

Cook 1 to 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Layer ravioli, beef sauce and cheese in 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish & cover.

Bake in 400°F oven 15 minutes (20 minutes if using frozen ravioli). Uncover; continue baking 15 to 20 minutes or until sauce is bubbly and pasta is tender.

Let stand at least 5 minutes before serving.

I made this the other night. I added a bunch of veggies, since its always tough to get veggies into my husbands diet. I added zuccini, carrots, onions, mushrooms and celery into the spagehtti sauce. It worked out very good. But next time I have to use much higher quality raviolis. The ones I had where no-name cheapies, this recipe deserves good one.
