How to make it

  • Rinse blossoms and blot dry on paper towels
  • Dip each blossom in egg, then in flour
  • Place each blossom in butter/oil mixture over medium heat
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper
  • Fry until golden, turning once

    Aren't these the best? We make these like francaise and sometimes stuff a little ricotta mixture in the blossom. I guess that is the Italian in our household showing!!
