I use white vinegar to clean the scrud build up inside my washing machine adjator - warm it in a bowl in the microwave and then soak a flannel in it and wipe clean :-) Also works on soap scum in the shower/bath!

Did you know that if you rub vinegar on your stainless steel taps, wrapped it in tissue paper (paper towels) etc., leave if for at least 1 hr, rinse it of and rubbed it with a clean cloth it will remove all water marks etc and will shine ( I use it on my stainless steel barstools and it prevents the finger marks!)
