Caesar Romaine Loaf Recipe

Ingredients

1 head Romaine Lettuce

Croutons

Caesar Salad Dressing (bottled or roll your own)

Directions

Cut the bottom stem part from a head of Romaine lettuce.

Clean the leaves carefully and assemble a package of four leaves that fit together to form a log. [See picture]

Place a small grouping of croutons against the side of the lettuce.

Drizzle the whole package with Caesar dressing.

One of our favorite restaurants will stand their romaine leaves straight up in a toasted bread cube. You pick out a leaf from what looks like a bread vase and eat it with your fingers. It is fun, too. This looks just as wonderful.
