How to make it

  • Peel the vegetables and dice them small
  • Add stock cubes, chicken juices (optional) and four pints of water.
  • Bring to the boil and simmer for approx 30 minutes
  • Leave to cool a little before blending
  • Season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper
  • Add a dollop of cream before serving
