	Sparow64 / All my dishes 1 year, 11 months ago Yummy frozen drink - freeze the syrup for an hour or two before mixing in the blender...and I'm sure Donny never drank it this way, but, I add a jigger of rum, crown, or vodka! Ingredients

2 oranges

2 1/4 c blueberries

4 T superfine sugar

1 1/4 c cold water

* I add a jiggerful of rum, crown, or vodka

Directions

Using a small sharp knife, carefully cut away the majority of the skin from oranges, and cut into 8-10 chunky wedges, roughly the same size

Reserve a few blueberries for garnish, then push the rest through a juicer, alternating with orange wedges. (I don't have ajuice, and just use the magic bullet)

Add the sugar and water to the juice, stir until sugar is dissolved

Place in non-metallic freezer container and freeze 1-2 hours, or until juice is beginning to freeze all over

Use a fork to break up any solid areas of the mixture

Place in blender or food processor

Add liquor (optional)

Blend until slushy

Garnish with blueberries
