Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. salt, or to taste
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper, or to taste
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar, optional
- 1 tsp. Granulated Sugar, optional
- 1 medium head cabbage, grated or shredded by hand
Directions
- Combine mayonnaise, salt and pepper, vinegar and sugar, if using. Toss with cabbage, making sure the cabbage and dressing are thoroughly mixed. Serves six to eight.

Hi Dixie,
This clow slaw recipe looks a lot like the slaw I used to eat at a barbecue restaurant in Showlow, AZ. It was just a hole in the wall place. Mom and pop place, and I thought his slaw was the best. I couldn't get his recipe. No way would he let me know the dressing ingredents.Next time we have cole slaw I'm gonna try it. Thanks. 5 forks.
