How to make it

  • Melt butter in large frying pan*, brown salt and peppered chicken
  • Heat soup, stir until smooth
  • Add sherry
  • Dip each breast in soup and return to frying pan
  • Pour remaining soup over breasts
  • Cover tightly
  • Place in at 325 degree oven for 1 hour
  • May be prepared ahead of time, warming in oven for 20 minutes
  • Pour gravy over chicken and serve with rice
  • *Black iron skillet is best
