Meatballs Italiano

- 1 lb spicy italian sausage shopping list
- 1 lb ground beef shopping list
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed shopping list
- 1 yellow onion, grated shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 1/2 TBSP fennel seed (crush or grind a little if you can) shopping list
- 2 tsp oregano shopping list
- 2 tsp ground rosemary shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Remove sausage from it's casing if present, and add to large mixing bowl.
- If the sausage is already seasoned with fennel/rosemary...you may want to go easy on the added seasoning.
- Add remaining ingredients and thoroughly combine everything together with your hands or kitchen-aid.
- Roll meat mixture by the handful into big round meatballs, I like them to be large. Larger than a golf ball but not as large as a pool ball.
- You should be able to roll up about 10-15 large ones.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet and put them in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and add to your pot of marinara sauce and simmer for another 15 minutes.
