How to make it

  • Pre-Heat oven 350 degrees
  • Mix all dry ingredients in an ungreased square cake pan
  • Make 3 holes
  • Put into each hole- Vanilla-Vinegar-Oil
  • Pour Water over all
  • Mix well (in pan)
  • Bake for 30 minutes

    I got this recipe from marlboro cigs. back in the early 90's. it is real good.

    This is very close to the recipe I use for my dairy-allergic son. Everyone loves this cake. I use a heaping 1/4 cup of cocoa and add 1/2 cup of chocolate chips (non-dairy for us). I also mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl first and then add the wet (You gotta have a bowl to lick if there is a five year-old around :P) I have a fudge frosting recipe I use on it that I'll have to post soon.
